Kewl!

Now you officially have a personal folder in my "My Music" Folder!

Very clean, it's clear you haven't forgotten much from your long break? I also must ask, are those steel acoustics or did you use an effect on the computer?

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

just my electric guitar man, glad you like the tune...and my own folder?! Thats fuckin awesome man.\m/

Nice solos!

Even though I'm more of a Bluesy player I still very much appreciate those solos! Everything was perfectly timed. The only thing I could give you a ten on was originality because I've heard the whole gentle acoustic goes into metal awesomeness and back. Now that I hear that I must ask if you'd ever consider creating an acoustic piece.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Dude, funny you should say that...if you scroll down(waaay down)...check out "The Corner Street Throne" its all acoustics. Glad you like the tune man!

Nice, one of the best I've heard!

Wonderful Combination of Chorus sounds and distortion, not often you hear something so uniqe. Hovever I must ask, who are your inspirations to soloing and what is the secret to pinch harmonics? My 40+ year veteran at the guitar I call a teacher was always a bluesy type so he never learned that kinda stuff. One more thing, how much is cool edit pro 2.1, I gotta get those sounds!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Ha, thanks man. My inspirations come from all over, however...my real drive to actually LEARN to solo(within the last little while) came from mostly guys from Newgrounds. I pale in comparison to many of the dudes here.(I won't name names cause the list is too long and I wouldnt want to forget anyone---including you) I'm only just learning scales and all the other techno mumbo jumbo. So for now I just go where my ear takes me.
As for the pintches, I also wanted to know the secret like 2 weeks ago. I looked it up online, and practiced the shit out of it. But my best advice came from DarKsidE_555 who told me to just pinch it! heheh. Cool edit pro runs about $300 American. You can download the trial version here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Editors-Recorders/Cool-Edit-Pro.shtml
Not sure what features are enabled and not...but I vaguely remember one site accidentally allowed a free download of the full version too. Although...$300 isnt that bad either.
Thanks again. Glad you liked the tune\m/

Not bad... Not bad at all!

This, I'd have to say is one of my favorite versions, however its not perfect. (I'm going to apologise beforehand for rambling) To start off your voice isn't bad at all, yet it sounds like you are holding back (I don't know if it's just me). Both distortions, though well chosen didn't have enough "thump" for my taste, maybe up the eq in the 62-500 area?

P.S. I really did like it, (gonna vote 5). I just hate it when people give me advice but don't tell me how to achieve the desired sound/effect/whatever. Don't mark me as one of those people who like to make themselves seem intelligent on the internet please!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Haha, no worries man. I completely agree with you. Now that I have gotten used to my recording equipment, I am dying to re-do this one. I did holdback on the growling, cause I did it in one take, and was trying to be quiet. The biggest thing this one is missing is the Bass line(which is killer) and a solo. Plus I have a better production program now, so that helps too.
Thanks for the review man, I know where you are comin from!

Awesome

Normally I'd criticize, but theres nothing to criticize about. I was just wondering what you used for the distortion (Pedal/Guitar/Amp). I'm loving that heavy metal sound!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it. I use a 1984 profile guitar, but my distortion comes from a downloaded program believe it or no. Guitar FX 3. YOu can download tonnes of presets, make your own through 15 channels with drop downs of eq's, reverbs, distortions etc...to achieve any sound you want. just plug your guitar straight into your mic port, and away you go.
Good luck and thanks for the review.!\m/

Awesome!

I don't wanna repeat other reviews so I'm just gonna ask a question. Do you remember how your guitarist gets all of his different distortions. They're so old fashioned, just like the beatles! And if the answer is an overdriven amp/distotion pedal or overdrive pedal, plz tell me which model.

Keep up the great work!

Chungadaddy responds:

1st of all THANK YOU! 'Really glad you enjoyed it. Regarding the way he did it... I actually think he was using his pedal. I'll ask him and email you... it may take a while since we're both kind of busy: he in Portugal killing patients, me in Sweden trying to research ways to better kill patients. What I do know is that whatever pedal he used it is not something expensive ok? ;) Thank you for listening!

hate to tell u this but....

If u record nothing for 60 seconds in windows sound recorder, then go to edit (or somehting up there) and click "double legnth" you can make recording time as long as you want.

On another note very nicely done; shows you can do more than simple background beats. Nicely done :)

ghetto-biba responds:

thanks for the review and the tip! I'll do that :)

lol! Nice one!

Since you reviewed my stuff I decided to check some of ur stuff out. I like this one in particular (as well as Funky Fusion Elevator Madness). It's about time someone gave props to Frank. Do something Bobby Darin related, he's kewl.

P.S. I tried the Amp/CPU thing, didn't work too well. For now I'll just use Cakewalk to make my guitar more professional sounding. I'd like to get a compressor mic to put in front of my Amp, then I'd be able to use my Tubescreamer (awesome guitar pedal), as well a reverb and all that other good stuff.

ghetto-biba responds:

Makes you think... nowadays, you can nearly 'buy' better music with all the equipment available.
Rock on acoustic!
thanks

Nicely done!

I must ask though, before u got a contract did u record strait into your Computer (if so what does it run on + sound card + microphones) or did u go to a recording studio and pay ridiculously large amounts of money to record?

P.S. Got a 5 from me!

Final-Round responds:

Recording studio, yeah, we payed a bit of money, but it was well worth it. speaking of which we're about to pay a huge amount for our new CD this Spring, so if you like this music you should buy the new full length, I heard a new version of that right one is gonna be on it, as well as 11 brand new songs!

Hey man, I have but one question, and a compliment

First the compliment, very quick and fun to listen, could brighten any day (or cause someone to bang their head against their desk).

Now for the question, what pedal/whatever do you use to get your distortion. I got a TS-9DX and I can't seem to get it. I'm thinking about getting a MT-2, would that get the job done?

P.S. I voted 5 ^_^

Evil-Dog responds:

Well yeah I (Evil-Dog) use a MT-2.
Good disto :D

Thanks!
